Jon William Bates

Jon William Bates, age 38, of Maryville Tennessee, passed away Saturday, October 24th at The University of Tennessee Medical Center after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Mary Bates, children, grandparents, parents, brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. Jon was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on August 18th, 1982. He graduated from William Blount high school and attended ITT Tech for information technology. Jon enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, and anything fast. Jon requested cremation, and a private memorial service will be held at the family home. Jon will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
