Joyce Henry Matthews

Joyce Henry Matthews, age 82 of Louisville, TN passed away at home Sunday, April 9th, 2017. She was a member of the New Providence Presbyterian Church of Maryville. Joyce was a devoted wife to the late Harry P. Matthews and loved framing and displaying his art work. Her favorite pastime was cooking. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph E. & Lillian R. Henry; her husband, Harry P. Matthews, her brothers, Ralph, James, Don and Bill; and her sister, Jean Hance. She is survived by her sister Mary Sue Culpepper along with many wonderful nieces and nephews and her cat Sophie. The family would like to give thanks to Blount Memorial Hospice along with her special friend, Cissy Vann, for her love and care she gave to Joyce. The family will have the graveside service Saturday, April 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holston College Cemetery with the Rev. Stan Rushing officiating.
