Jretta Ellan Black

Jretta Ellan Mason Black - age 97 of Maryville born in Sweetwater, Tennessee August 7, 1919 passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at Morningview Assisted Living Center. She was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church and was retired from Viskase in Loudon, where she lived most of her adult life. Jretta was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Carl H. Black; parents, Worth and Mary Mason; siblings, Ruell Mason, Glenn "Dood" Mason, Annis Mason Driggs, Virginia Mason Fredrichs. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Quinn Black; grandchildren, Whitney Black Dee and husband Jonnie; Nicholas Black and wife Regina; great-grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Kelci, Ephraim and Devan Dee, Mariella and Nicholas Black; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Loudon County Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with Dr. Mike Dalton officiating.
