Katherine Tipton Mccallie

Katherine Tipton McCallie, age 98 went to be with the Lord November 22, 2015. Her passion and life's devotion were to her family, church and community. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. McCallie and parents Dr. And Mrs. J. S. Tipton of Friendsville. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Mary Katherine and Jim Allsobrooks, son James Robert McCallie and Linda Crawford, and four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. The family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Friends Cemetery in Friendsville for a graveside service with Pastor Betty Furches officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Friendsville United Methodist Church. 204 E College Ave, Friendsville, TN 37737
