Larry Melvin Hearon

Larry Melvin Hearon, age 71, of Maryville passed away on March 5, 2022, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a lifetime member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was retired from Alcoa with 38 years of service. He was a member of Mountain View Masonic Lodge # 519. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marlow Melvin Hearon and Ada Blanche Boring Hearon; grandparents, Albert “Pap” Gilmore Hearon and Tenna “Mammy” Annis Carpenter Hearon, Leonard Thomas Boring and Lena Mae Carver Boring.

He is survived by wife, Carolyn “Pinky” Hearon; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Larry Wyatt, Jr; sisters, Carol Kron, Anita (Paul) Clark; brother, Dwaine Hearon; several nieces and nephews; numerous close cousins.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, March 10th at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and the service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Scott Lingenfelter and Rev. Clifton Hearon officiating. The interment and Masonic Service will immediately follow at Centenary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
