Larry Wayne King

KING, Larry Wayne- age 66 of Maryville, passed away Saturday January 26, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital of Lung Cancer. He was a loving husband and father. Preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Janie King; brother, Benny King. Survivors include: wife of 29 years, Lisa Waters King; son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Joanna King; brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Mary Kay King; sons by a previous marriage, Byron (Lanny) Prost, and Johnny Prost and their children; several aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of the Pallitive Care Unit of Blount Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion, Dr. David Cox and Staff, The Thompson Cancer Group, Dr. Smuckler and his staff, and the second floor staff of Morning View. The body will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Blount Memorial Hospice, or a charity of your choice.
