Linda Kathryn Ujcich

UJCICH, Linda Kathryn, age 60 of Maryville, died Friday, February 16, 2008, unexpectedly at her home. She was a long-time, very active member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was born May 25, 1947, in Bessemer, PA, to Walter and Ruby Bryan Ujcich, and had one sister. Besides her volunteer work with her church, she was a member of the Blount County Ecumenical Action Council, worked with Community Food Connection, and participated annually in the Blount County Right to Life “Life Chain”. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sylvia Ujcich Behrman. She will be missed by her aunt, Frances Bryan, and cousins, Cookie Arma, Dick Bryan, George Bryan, Tom Bryan, Sandy Doricich, Rosemarie Kotchmar, Marian Morse, and Amy Spotz, as well as members of her church family and many friends in the community. A funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, February 29, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Church, with Father Patrick Resen officiating. Interment will follow immediately at St. Thomas the Apostle Columbarium, Lenoir City. A reception will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Social Hall following the interment.
