Lucille Davis Styles

STYLES, Lucille Davis Owen, born May 12, 1911, in Toccoa, GA to DeWitt and Sarah M. “Dinah” Owen passed away Monday, July 22, 2002, at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN. She had been a resident of Maryville and Louisville, TN for over 25 years, prior to that she resided in Arlington, VA and Atlanta, GA. Lucille was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church and was active in the Quilting group. She also contributed over 4,000 hours as a volunteer with the Blount Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Mrs. Styles was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gilbert Styles; brothers, Pete and Bernard Owen; sisters, Agnes Owen Shepard, and Sarah Owen Smith. Survivors include: son, David O Styles of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel F. and Debi Styles of Plant City, FL; nephews, Robert W. Owen, of Florida, Robert W. Shepard, of Georgia, James B. Owen Jr., of Virginia, Parker Owen, of Tennessee. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 8 P.M. at McCammon -Ammons-Click Funeral Home. An accommodation service will be held Saturday the 27th at 2:00 P.M. at New Providence Presbyterian Church with Rev. Steven Musick officiating.
