Margo Mary Wilkie Rogers

ROGERS, Margo Mary Wilkie, of Alcoa, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Morningview Transitional Care. Margo was born April 2, 1921 in Felixstowe, England. She was raised in Malaysia on a rubber tree plantation. Margo worked and traveled worldwide before settling in America in 1954. Margo was a lifelong member of The Church of England. Margo is survived by: sons, Richard Rogers, Michael Rogers and fiancee, Renee Wash and daughter, Anne Rogers; grandsons, Christopher Rogers, Tristan Rogers; granddaughter, Caitlin Bell and husband Thomas Bell; great grandson, Thomas “T.J.” Bell, Jr.; brother, Edward Wilkie of New Zealand; former husband, Peter J. Rogers; numerous nephews and nieces. The family wishes to say a special thanks to the 2 North and Hospice Staff at Blount Memorial Hospital. A very special thank you also to the wonderful staff at Morningview Transitional Care and to Margo’s adopted Church, First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Pastor, Rev. Ronald Longmire. At her request, she was cremated and there will be a private family memorial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1301 E.
