Martha Goddard Hamilton

Martha G. Hamilton, age 84 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Maryville, she loved music and sang in the Choir for many years at First United Methodist Church of Maryville, sang with the singing group The Tennesseans in 1948 and toured the West. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aldrich Eugene Hamilton; parents, Walter Lee and Agnes McCall Goddard; sister, Louise Hightower; brother, Walter Goddard. Survivors include her sons, Tom of Maryville, Bobby of Thornville, OH, Steve and wife Kim of Astor, FL, Phil of Maryville; daughter, Marti of New Market; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Cochran of Maryville; brother, Boyd Goddard of Montgomery, AL. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Brenda and Larry Carroll officiating. The interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
