Martha J. Sharp

Martha J. Sharp, age 81, of Maryville, TN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, December 14, 2018. She was born on January 12, 1937, to Joe and Emma Cobb. She graduated from Alcoa High School before marrying Jack Sharp on September 1, 1956. They were married for 61 years. They have two daughters and four grandchildren. Martha was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She and Jack enjoyed watching their grandchildren participate in sports and school activities. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; parents, Joe and Emma Cobb; brothers and sister, James, Charles, Olis, Frank, and Elsie. She is survived by daughters, Robin (Jerome) Karnowski, Janie (Darryll) Mills; grandchildren, Garrett (Sarah) Karnowski, Adam Karnowski, Emily Mills, and Natalie Mills; sisters-in-law, Sue Bingham (special friend Kenneth Belcher), Imogene Cobb, and Martha Pearl Cobb; brother-in-law, Mack (Betty) Sharp; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2018, at Bakers Creek Cemetery for a graveside service with Darryll Mills officiating.
