Marvin Eugene Hall

Marvin Eugene Hall, Quaker Minister for 48 years till his retirement in 2012, went to be with His Lord March 18, 2015. He spent many years as a minister for the Society of Friends. He spent 15 years as Executive Secretary of Willmington Yearly Meeting of Society of Friends. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Lois Hall; brother, Roger; sister, Geraldine McDonald. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bettie C. Hall; son, Gene Hall and wife Debbie ; son, Terry Hall; son, Rodney Hall and his wife Dana; daughter, Carmen Brownlie and husband Ricky; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Lynn (Terry); sisters, Rosalie (Patrick) Fagan, Diane (Tracy) Jordan and Linda Gould. The family will receive friends from 3-5:00 p.m. Sunday followed by a 5:00 p.m. Celebration of Life service at Friendsville Friends Church, 503 W. Hill Avenue, Friendsville, TN 37737, with Pastor Scott Knight officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friendsville Friends Meeting.
