Michael Ray Hunt

Michael Ray Hunt, age 57, of Friendsville, died peacefully following a short illness on Sunday, June 1, 2014. He loved his family and worked hard to provide for them. He was an electrician for ALCOA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Benson Hunt; father, Bill Ray Hunt and grandparents, Ollie and Ada White and William T. and Lois Hunt. Survivors include his children, daughter, Dana Miller, son, Aaron Hunt, daughters, Lacey and Earl Jenkins, Alicia White, Jennifer and Chad Kirkland; parents, Carl and Norma Miller; brother, Greg White Hunt; sister, Tamra Hunt (David) Carrigan; stepbrother, Carl Miller, III; stepsister, Carla Hauman; 8 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Madison Avenue Baptist Church, 1819 Madison Avenue, Maryville, TN 37804, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. with Dr. Steve Hodges and Rev. Charles Bailey officiating. Final interment will be at Laurel Bank Baptist Church.
