Minnie Geraldine (Davidson) Mincy

Minnie Geraldine (Davidson) Mincy, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Spring City, TN, where she was raised and married her husband, the late William Kenneth Mincy, Sr. on March 2, 1940. Then they moved to Maryville where they raised 6 children. She was retired from Levi Strauss Company. Preceded in death by her parents, Addie Brady and Charles Davidson and granddaughter, Barbara Gayle Mincy. Survived by daughters, Mary Elizabeth (J.D.) Bryant, Roxie Ann Thomas, Linda Kaye (Ron) Mincy-Pavlik, Donna Sue (Steve) Mincy-White; sons, Charles David Mincy and William Kenneth Mincy, Jr.; grandchildren, Rhonda, Jimmy and Mark Bryant, Lisa Teffeteller, David Blevins, Preston and Lauren White, Jessica Long, Destin, Chad, Matthew and Brittany Mincy, Brandy Jones; 17 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. And a special thank you to her great granddaughter, Misty Alley for her loving care. Family and friends will meet at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with Rev.
