Nancy E. Mcclanahan

McClanahan, Nancy E. “Nannie”, age 96 of Maryville died Saturday July 5th 2003 at her home. She was the oldest member of Piney Grove Baptist Church where she and her sisters Minnie and Alice sang as a trio for church and other functions and was a very active person her entire life. She is preceded in death by her husband, W. B. McClanahan, daughter Shirley McClanahan and parents John A. and Mary A. James White, sisters Grace Whitehead, Minnie Hodge, brothers Lige White, John White, Alse White. She is survived by sister Alice Walker of Maryville, sisters in laws Jenny McClanahan, Lucille McClanahan, and Mary Webb, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Fleeger officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Pecks Memorial Cemetery for the interment service.
