Norma Jean Carpenter

CARPENTER, Norma Jean, age 68 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Carpenters United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Carpenter; parents, James Oscar and Ella Anva Kerr Latham; brother, George Latham. Survivors include her children, Cynthia Diane Cupp and her husband Johnny, Gerald Timothy Spence and his wife Angela, Douglas Kent Spence and his wife Carol, Penny Michelle Relation all of Maryville; 6 grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Helen Gatlin of Louisville, Jo Harrison of Annapolis, MD; brothers, Don Latham of Denver, CO, Kenneth Latham of Panama City, FL; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2-2:45 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2006, at Carpenters United Methodist Church with a brief Eulogy to follow. A graveside service will follow in the Church Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Tucker and Rev. Danny Ogle officiating.
