Osie Lane

Ms. Osie G. Lane, age 94, of Alcoa, passed away July 21, 2015. Preceded in death by her parents, Carl R. Layne and Vinnie Rasor Layne; siblings, Bertie Kirkland, Forrest Layne, Bertha Cagle, Harry Layne, Roy Layne, Annie Borden, and Earl Layne. She felt blessed having many nieces and nephews. Survivors include sister, Jessie Cline; special friend, Stella Scarbrough and her family, the Russell family, the Dorsey's, and many other loving neighbors; her pets, BoBo and Betsy who she loved dearly. Many thanks to the special people with the Senior Citizens Outreach and Meals on Wheels for your amazing support and service. Friends and family are invited to meet at 10:00 am Saturday, July 25, at the Vonore Baptist Church Cemetery, 714 Church St., Vonore, TN, for a graveside service with Rev. Carson Scarbrough officiating.
