Phyllis T. Van Hooser

Phyllis T. Van Hooser, age 92, passed away December 28, 2023, at Shannondale of Maryville. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church in Knoxville. She was active in the Daughters of The King at Church, American Association of University Women, and Daughter of the Revolution. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Jack Van Hooser.

She is survived by her children, Carol Van Hooser, Amy Lindgren, Alice Potter, Tom Van Hooser, Sarah Longshore; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Gloria Lucas; nieces, Cynthia Walker, Laura Whaley.

A service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 5, 2023, at Saint Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in Farragut.
