Reece B. Drinnen

Reece B. Drinnen, age 99, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016, at the home of his daughter. He was a member of East Maryville Baptist Church, a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served during World War II, retired from ALCOA and a member of the 25 Year Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Drinnen. Survivors include his daughter, Linda Brakebill and husband Greg; grandchildren, Emily Sweetland and husband David and Drew Brakebill and wife Miranda; great grandchildren, Dawson Sweetland, Ella Reese Sweetland and Gracie Sue Brakebill. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Saturday at East Maryville Baptist Church with Rev. David Headrick and Rev. Keith Johnson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Saturday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Welcome Table at New Providence Presbyterian Church, 703 W. Broadway, Maryville, TN 37801.
