Retha C. Smith

Retha C. Smith, age 91 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Alcoa Maryville Church of God and was preceded in death by her husband, Claude C. Smith; parents, Newton and Mary Elizabeth Hatcher Neeley; brothers, R. J. Neeley and Don Neeley. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Ellen Smith of Knoxville; daughters and sons-in-law, Claudette and Martin Miller, Rowena and Don Goddard, Jean and Ken Smither all of Maryville, Brenda and Mike Pasqua of Alcoa; grandchildren, Paige and Jeff Hickey of Maryville, Nicholas Pasqua of Bristol, Allison Pasqua of Alcoa, Jeff and Janie Smither of Orlando, FL, Craig and Lara Smither of Memphis; great grandchildren, Elijah Hickey, Alex Leigh Smither, Abby Smither, Beth Smither; special sister-in-law, Wilma Killian of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Grandview Cemetery with G. Hubert McGarity and Fred Cook officiating.
