Robert Darius Hensley

Robert Darius Hensley of Louisville TN, formerly of Knoxville passed away April 18, 2014 at Kindred Healthcare Center, Maryville after a short illness. He was a WWII Veteran having served aboard the Navy Destroyer USS Dempsey. He worked 45 years at KUB Knoxville and was a member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church, Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Darius and Mae Hensley; sisters, Annalee Veslik and Judy Harrison. Survivors include his wife of 27 Years, Thetta Sue Hensley of Louisville; son, Robert S. Hensley of Miami, FL; step-son, Lyndon Akins and wife Terry of Atlanta, GA; step-daughter, Lori Roberts of Maryville; granddaughter, Anna Akins of Atlanta, GA. The family will receive friends Monday, April 21, from 12:30 to 2:00 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. Graveside services will be 3:00 P.M. Monday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Knoxville with Rev. Charlie Rose officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Michael J.
