Robert L. Extine

Robert L. Extine, age 81 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at the Ben Atchley State Veterans Home in Knoxville. He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ and a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Pearl Spurgeon Extine; granddaughter, Rachel M. Lowery; daughter-in-law, Vickie Extine. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Brunhild Anna Extine; daughters and sons-in-law, Angelika and Kenneth Lowery, Connie and John Wishmire; son Andrew Lewis Extine; son and daughter-in-law, Klaus and LaQuita Extine; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Bertie, Nina, Jean, Pauline; brothers, William, Kenneth, Andrew, Ferman; several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastside Church of Christ for Children's Benefits, 2543 Sevierville Road, Maryville, TN 37804.
