Roy M. Brooks, Jr.

Roy M. Brooks, age 76 of Greenback, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Laurel Bank Baptist Church, drove special needs bus for Loudon County Schools, worked for Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Services and was a member of the Loudon County Planning Commission. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy M. Sr., and Gail Marie Alexander Brooks. Survivors include his wife Kay Hair Brooks; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Kathy Brooks; twin granddaughters, Kallee Brooks and Kelsey Brooks. Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Bailey and Rev. Guy Milam officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Oakland Trigonia Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
