Ruth Caylor James

Ruth Caylor James, age 88 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009, at the family home. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Edgar James; parents, John and Bertice Caylor; sister, Garnet Pritchard; brother, Fred Caylor. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lynn and Wade Long, Margaret and David Holmes; son, Phillip James; granddaughters and husbands, Allison and Andy Daugherty, Jennifer and James Archer; grandsons and wives, Allen and Andrea Holmes, James and Hope Long; great grandchildren, Drew Daugherty, Ruthie and Seth Archer, Jacob and Finley Holmes, Samuel Long, Alex and Austin Williamson; sisters, Alice Moore and Louise Welch. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
