Sam Henry Mccall

Sam Henry McCall, age 73 of Maryville, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Springview Baptist Church, he was a bus owner and driver for 30 years and was a farmer. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved photography. Mr. McCall was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth McCall and sister, Alice Jean McCall. Survivors include is wife, Lucile Downey McCall; daughter and son-in-law, Connie McCall Campbell and husband Robert; grandsons, Robert Lee Campbell and Shane Christopher Campbell; mother, Martha McCall; sisters, Alta and Kenneth Holder, Margaret and Dwayne Flynn, Donna and Norman Blankenbeckler; brothers, Russell G. and Edna McCall, John A. McCall, Robert L. and Lynett McCall, Jack and Patsy McCall, Dr. William and Judy McCall; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Toby Downey officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Jill B.
