Sandra Faye Umholtz

Sandra Faye Umholtz, née Lambert, died in the early morning of Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the age of 81. Born in Ripley, WV on January 18, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gatha Lambert, Sr. She was a daughter, sister, mother, military wife, and a member of Southside Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James Norman Umholtz. She is survived by her three children, Brian Umholtz of Parrish FL, Bobbi Whary of Mechanicsburg PA, and Jon Umholtz of Lakeland FL; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and two sisters Carolyn Hyatt and Patti Lambert.

Sandra will be quietly laid to rest with her husband in East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville TN, on July 31st at 8:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church.
