Sarah Frances Pickens

Sarah Frances Pickens - age 81 of Maryville passed away Friday May 28, 2004 at her home. She was born in Shelbyville, TN in 1922. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church, and attended the University of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Lena Hix Parker; husband, Samuel R. Pickens. Survivors include her son, Steven R. Pickens, of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law, Fred P. And Trudy Pickens, of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Gary and Tia Pickens, Susan Pickens and Kellie Pickens. Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Dr. James Dougherty officiating. The interment will follow in Eusebia Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30 to 2:30 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Broadway United Methodist Church 309 E.
