Staci Joyce Reyes

Reyes, Staci Joyce, age 14 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2006, at Childrens Hospital in Knoxville, TN. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Choir and active in various missionary trips with the Church Choir. She was an honors student at William Blount High School, where she was a member of the Marching Band, Concert Band, a participant in Jr. Clinic and played softball at Maryville Little League. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nancy Joyce McFadyen. Survivors include her parents, Ralph and Cheri McFadyen Reyes of Maryville, TN; brothers, Ralph Stephen Reyes, Jr. of Morristown, TN, Jeffery Alan Reyes of Largo, FL and Derek John Reyes of Maryville, TN; grandfathers, Rafael Reyes of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, John Lynwood McFadyen of Morristown, TN; grandmother, Alice Marie Birous Zall of Turnbull, CT; aunts and uncles, Annette Marie Thompson (Wayne) of Newtown, CT, Nicole Anne Reeder of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Melinda Helen Gordon (Bill) of Morristown, TN, William Alexander McFadyen (Jennie) of Talbot, TN; many cousins; very special friends, Gabby, Angel, Becky, Mary Kate, Breanna and Kaitlyn; many other friends too numerous to name. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Fairview United Methodist Church with Dr. Jerry Russell officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Church. Active Pall Bearers will be Ralph Stephen Reyes, Jr., Jeffery Alan Reyes, Derek John Reyes, Alex Versen, William McFadyen, Bill Gordon and Ivan Maldonado. Honorary Pall Bearers will be James, Jonathan, Ryan and Adrian. Staci was the epitome of Christianity. She had an enate ability to unconditionally love and accept all people in a nonjudgmental way while maintaining her own belief system.
