Terry Douglas Cate

Cate, Terry Douglas of Greenback passed away Friday November 14th 2008 at home with his girls by his side. He was former owner of Cate Paint and Lighting, Sterling Seed and Feed, and operator of Cades Cove Campground Store. He is preceded in death by his wife Joanne Cate, father Cotton Cate. He is survived by his daughters Marthea “Marty” Cate, Deanna Cate, mother, Rose Cate, brother and sister in law, Ted and Kathy Cate, “sister”, Sylvia Mitchell, special friends, Libby Wright, Wayne, Reggie and Merle Lanagan, Dewayne Burchfield and George Payne and his beloved dog Sam. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lisa Blackwood officiating. The interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Monday. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to The Salvation Army, 409 N. Broadway St., Knoxville TN., 37917-7403.
