Presley, Thelma L. Age 93 of Maryville died Monday July 3rd 2006 at Blount Transitional Care. She was the daughter of William Robert Long and Ethel Grindstaff Long. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. She loved to quilt, cook, work with flowers, and to talk to people. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Tobe Presley, brothers, Ernest, John, W.J., Kenneth, Earl, and Clarence. Sisters, Eula Brewer, Lois Long, and Minnie Long. She is survived by her son, Don Presley, daughter Charlene Davis, special grand daughter and caretaker, Mickey Presley, grandsons, Paul Presley, Donnie Presley, Johnny Presley, Tommy Presley, Michael Frank, Scottie Frank, and Chuck Davis. 14 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Sister in laws, Nora Long, and Helen Long. Brother Paul B. Long of IL. Several nieces and nephews, special nephews Dale Brewer, Wade Long, many friends, special friends Tom Click and Fred and Ann Winstead, Ben Young and Ernest Burchfield. Breakfast Buddy, Jimmy McNish, many wonderful neighbors that she loved. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery for the interment service where the grandsons will act as pall bearers.
