Wanda R. Hill

Wanda R. Hill, age 82 of Maryville, passed away peacefully March 14, 2012, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be greatly missed. She joins her husband of 60 years, Retired Maryville Fire Chief, Bruce H. Hill; her grandson, Jason Hodge; and her parents, Charles and Betty Wheeler, in her new Heavenly home. Survivors include her children, Sherry Price and David Hill both of Maryville; grandchildren, Ronnie Hodge of Kenesaw, GA, Sabrina Huffstetler and Rocky Hodge of Maryville, Jeremy Hill of Knoxville and Brandi Smith of Meridian, MS; great-grandchildren, Steven, Rodney, and Joshua Hodge of Kenesaw, GA, Cortney and Orion Mashburn, Cole Huffstetler, and Jason F. Hodge, all of Maryville, Melanie Hodge of Vonore, Delaney Smith of Meridian, MS, Jessica and Casey Wilson of Kenesaw GA; great great-grandson, Brayden Hodge of Kenesaw, GA; her sister, Janice Baldwin of Knoxville; sisters-in-law, Jean Law of Maryville, Jodie Cagle of Sevierville, and Jenia Hill of Kingston, TN; best friend of over 50 years, Emma Lee Martin; several cousins, nieces and nephews. To her grandchildren she was affectionately known as Mamaw Boney. Special thanks to Tennova Residential Hospice, Alicia Hatcher, and Home Instead care givers for their love and devotion. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Townsend officiating. The entombment will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Grandview Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
