William ''Bill'' Scott Summers

William Bill Scott Summers, age 48 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a cement mixer truck driver for Harrison Construction Company for 12 years and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Felin and Hattie Harness. Survivors include his mother, Shirley Summers of Maryville; father and stepmother, Gary and Ann Summers of Deer Lodge, TN; sisters, Tammy Chadwick and husband Vick of Knoxville, Terry Fisher and husband Billy of Maryville, Samantha Cummings, Tammy Redden both of KY, Johnnie Easter of Philadelphia, TN; brothers, Gene Summers and wife Diana of Maryville, Michael McNeilly and wife Michelle of Knoxville; girlfriend, Tracy Gribble; special friend, Joe Jack; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the nurses on 5 East at Blount Memorial Hospital and Thompson Oncology and for everyones thoughts and prayers. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with Rev. Dale Buchanan officiating.
