William E. Johnson

William E. Johnson, age 76 of Friendsville, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at his home. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Friendsville, was a veteran of the U. S. Army, retired from ALCOA and a member of the 25 Year Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie Jo Johnson; mother and stepfather, Catherine and Lake Smith; brother-in-law, Odell Smith. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Tammie and Rodney McNabb; son, Monty Johnson; grandchildren, Colton and Marah McNabb, Brittany and Hailey Johnson; sister, Wanda Smith; sister-in-law, Brenda Alloway; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Wanda Parkins; nieces, Amy Chambers, Tracy Kimsey and Staci Parkins. Family and friends will meet at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Tim Kimsey officiating.
