Wilma Russell

RUSSELL, Wilma A., age 69, of 255 Eller Avenue, East Peoria, IL, died at 2:05 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born October 20, 1933 in Blount County, Tennessee to Emmitt Leon and Danna Mae Jemes Blevins, who preceded her in death. She married Raymer Vernon Russell on August 4, 1951 in Blount County, Tennessee. Mrs. Russell was an Avon Representative in the East Peoria area for the past 38 years. She previously worked for Bemis Bag Company in Peoria and later as a cook for Creve Coeur School District #76 at Parkview School in the early 70’s. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing bingo and bunco. Survivors include: husband, Raymer Vernon Russell of East Peoria; one daughter, Arlene B. (Ron) Donaldson of Pekin, IL; one son, Ronald D. Russell of Maryville, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Russell, Heather Russell, and Renee Russell, all of Goreville, IL, and Jeremy Donaldson and Tricia Donaldson, both of Pekin, IL; one sister, Janis Renfro of Maryville, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5:00 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
