Zelma L. ''Zee'' O'Connor

Zelma L. “Zee” O’Connor, age 74 of Maryville, peacefully passed from this life on Thursday, August 11, 2011, at Shannondale of Maryville. She was a member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked most of her life in the trucking industry, mastering many positions. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Estella Crim; brother, Joe Crim Survived by her husband, J. B. O’Connor; children and their spouses, Michael and Carmen Alexander of Lake St. Louis, MO, Mark and Tina Alexander of Winfield, MO; stepchildren and their spouses, Chris and Susan O’Connor of Overland Park, KS, Vicki and Russ Dixon of Dublin, OH; sister and husband, Jerris and Hank Maples of Oakley, IL; brother and wife, Dennis and Janet Crim of Senath, MO; sister-in-law and husband, Marian and Bob Cantley of Maryville; grandchildren, Amanda and Samantha Alexander, Emily Alexander, Ian, Asher and Hope O’Connor, Pasha and Isabell Katchanov; great grandchildren, Ely Williams and Isabella Alexander; several nieces and one nephew. Love and thanks to special caregiver, Lisa Russell, and all the caring personnel of Shannondale of Maryville. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, service to follow at 4:00 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Chapel, Maryville, with Rev. Ron Fisher and Rev. Rex Rogers officiating. Family and friends will meet Monday, August 15, at 10:00 a.m. at Middlesettlements Cemetery for the interment service.
