Albert "Al" Thorne Mcbride

Albert “Al” Thorne McBride, age 84, of Alcoa passed away on February 21, 2023. He was a longtime member of Broadway United Methodist Church. He was employed at ALCOA for 35 years as an Electrical Engineer and a member of the Alcoa 25-Year Club. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Kaspereit McBride; parents, Thorne Farthing McBride and Ella Jay Peterson McBride; brother, Glea McBride; daughter-in-law, Michelle McBride; brother-in-law, Carl Engle. 

He is survived by his sons, Mark McBride, Brad McBride (Shannon), Keith McBride (Heather); grandchildren, Mishealah Crider (John), Maggie McBride, Madison McBride, Drew McBride, Hayden McBride (fiancé, Sydney Johnson), Jenny Kate McBride, Allie McBride; great-grandchildren, Quinn and Liam; sisters, Juanita Engle, Floy Ellen Harris (John); brother, David McBride (Jan); sister-in-law, Marilyn McBride; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; special friend, Marion Griffitts and family.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM, Friday, February 24, 2023, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM at Grandview Cemetery.
