Albert Auxier, born October 2, 1938, in Mason City, Illinois, passed away August 7, 2025, at Morning View Transitional Care Facility. He taught for 30 years at University of Tennessee Knoxville's College of Business.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Pat; children Susan Gennoe (Steve) and Tim Auxier; five grandchildren—Riley Gennoe (Bailey), Nathan Gennoe (Ellie), Luke Rivers, Ella Auxier, Sarah Auxier—and great-granddaughter Genesis Webb.
A graveside service will be held August 11, 2025, at Oak View Baptist Church Cemetery at 10am, Rev. Scott Huffstetler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak View Baptist Church Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Boxes.
