Alice Gilliland, of Maryville, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Don Gilliland; parents, Bliss and Gertrude Hardesty; 2 brothers and 6 sisters. Survivors include her brother, Everett Hardesty of Brunswick, OH. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with The Rev. Kevin L. Strickland officiating.
