Alva L. Alexander

Alva L. Alexander - age 71 of Maryville went to his heavenly home on January 16, 2015. He was a member of Maryville First Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Alva was a much loved husband, father, grandfather, and friend he will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Eliza Powell Alexander; brother, Phillip Alexander. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Fayetta Alexander; sons, James Alexander and Anthony Alexander both of Franklin, Ohio; daughter, Kathy Dawn Alexander of Friendsville; sisters, Linda B. Alexander of Maryville, Juanita Lainhart of McKee, KY; 10 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. The interment will follow in Clarks Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
