Alva Cathcart, age 84, passed away at Asbury Place, June 23, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Essie Cathcart; sisters, Bernice Williams and Lucille Young Wolff. Survived by her brother, Buddy Cathcart and wife Helen; nieces, Kathaleen Young and husband, Billy Myers, Patricia Cathcart and husband, Wayne Flynn, Brenda Cathcart; nephews, Robert Young and wife, Teresa, Douglas Cathcart; great nieces, Lynsey Young, Cassanderia Cathcart; great nephews, Bradley Flynn and wife Jessie; special great nephew, Jacob Cathcart. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. The interment service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Grandview Cemetery.
