Anna Reva Phelps Davis

DAVIS, Anna Reva Phelps, age 85 of Maryville, passed away, Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church and was well known as the Iris Lady. She was preceded in death by her son, Rodger N. Davis; parents, William Esco and Rosa Davis Phelps; brothers, Edward and Jerrod; sister, Edna Stoutt. Survivors include her husband, Bruce Davis; son, Richard Alan Davis; sons and daughters-in-law, John B. and Margie Davis, Joseph E. and Judy Davis; daughter and son-in-law, LaRana and William J. Woods all of Maryville; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, W. D. and Marie Phelps of Friendsville; sister, Geneva Sturgeon of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and William Jackson, Jr. of Manchester; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Sherwood Mausoleum Chapel for an entombment service with Rev. Joe Black officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
