Anna Ruth Rorex

Anna Ruth Rorex, age 89 of Maryville, TN, passed away January 11, 2025, at her home. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed participating in bowling league and tournaments across the state and United States. She loved people, laughing and having a good time! She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ralph W. Rorex, Sr.; parents, Caleb Brown and Gustave “Gussie” Pendergrass Brown; brothers, Dennis Brown, Leroy “LR” Brown, Osvel Brown, Bobby Gene Brown; sisters, Evelyn Smith, Flossel “Flossie” Brown, Ina Leota Brackett.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Avis and Jeff Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Ralph W. “Wayne” Rorex, Jr. and Mary; grandchild, Landon D. Rorex; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 PM at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 PM with Chaplain Jeremy Hayes officiating.
