Aquila Hamilton Tallent

Aquila Hamilton Tallent - age 86 of Rockford passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Blount Transitional Care. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a graduate of East Tennessee State University, was a retired Teacher from the Alcoa City School System with 37 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin L. Tallent; sister, Fontella Hamilton Eggers; parents, William Ernest and Lillius Ousley Hamilton. Survivors include a nephew, Dr. Frank M. Eggers II and wife Dr. Sandy J. Eggers of Memphis, TN, and their family; several other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be 5:00 P.M. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jim Millsaps officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:00 A.M. Monday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
