Artie Tallent Thompson

THOMPSON, Artie Tallent, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Monday, December 13, 2004, at Asbury Acres Health Center. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Monroe County and was preceded in death by her husband, Barrett Tallent; daughter, Judy Tallent Belcher; son, Jim Tallent; sister, Rosalee Howard; and brother, Charles Brackett. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Geraldine and James F. McCollum of Tellico Village; daughter-in-law, Tina Tallent; former daughter-in-law, Lee Tallent Parker; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Kimsey officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:00 noon Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service.
