Athlene M. Jenkins

Athelene M. Jenkins, of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at Wood Presbyterian Nursing Home in Sweetwater. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Harrell K. Jenkins; parents, Thomas Houston Morton and Alice Hord Morton; 6 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, H. King and Pat Jenkins of Tellico Village; grandchildren, Connie Bailey and husband Rickey of Camp Hill, PA, Lynn A. Jenkins of CA; great grandson, Jake Bailey; great granddaughter, Logan Abellana; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment was held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 665 New Hwy. 68, Suite B, Sweetwater, TN 37874.
