Austin Glen “Bugs” Pointon departed for his heavenly home Sunday, June 22, 2025. He loved his old cars and car buddies. Bugs was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Inez Pointon; brother, Billy; sisters Dee Dee and Mary; mother-in-law, Elsie Hunt.
Left to mourn his passing is his beloved wife of almost 50 years, Pam; precious daughter, Cindy and husband, Jeremiah Jones; his loving and devoted grandchildren, Isaiah and Bella Jones; father-in-law, Glen Hunt; sisters, Susie Householder and Rick, Nancy Nicholson; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Zion Chapel Baptist Church on Thursday, June 26th from 5:00-7:00 PM with the funeral at 7:00 PM conducted by Pastor Jim Malone. Graveside services will be at Zion Chapel Baptist Church, 3334 Zion Chapel Rd., Louisville, TN 37777 at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 27th.
