Bernice Pauline ''Polly'' Coope

Polly Dennis Coope, age 89 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010, at home. She was a member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Coope; grandson, Joseph Coope; parents, John E. and Nelle A. Pierce Dennis; brothers, Bruce Dennis and John Dennis, Jr. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Elaine Coope of Winchester, TN, David and Sharon Coope of Maryville; son, Alan Coope of Maryville; special daughter-in-law, Sandra Coope; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Juanita Wolf of Maryville, Lee Harr of Knoxville. The family wishes to express thanks to special care givers, Linda Pence; Hospice and Home Health and special Church friends, Barbara and Jeanette. Family and friends will assembly at 12:45p.m. Thursday at the gate to Highland Memorial Cemetery in Knoxville for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service with Rev. Charles Carpenter officiating.
