Betty Lillard Johnston

Betty Lillard Johnston, age 88 of Maryville, passed away July 15, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Richeson Dick Johnston; son, Gene Richard Johnston; parents, Rev. Horace R. and Nixie Young Lillard; brothers, Ray, James, and Gene Lillard; sister and brother-in-law, Mildred J. and Paul Houk. Survivors include: sons, Michael (Sharon) Johnston and Steven Johnston; sister, Norma Lillard Lynn; sisters-in-law, Barbara Lillard and Marcelle Lillard; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Sexton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service.
