Bobbie Gene Bender, age 75, of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Zions Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Rose Jones Johnston; son, Todd Nitzberg; sisters, Sue and Brenda. Survivors include her husband, Franc G. Bender; sons, Norman Nitzberg, Brad Nitzberg, Scott Nitzberg; granddaughter, Aubrey Nitzberg; brothers, Kenneth Johnston and Jack Johnston. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clarence Byrd officiating. The interment will follow in Zions Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. 982-6812 www.mccammonammonsclick.com
