Gene Walker, age 76 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran serving in the U. S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Chyoko Walker; son, Bobby Gene Walker, Jr. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service.
